2018 FACULTY

 

   Kevin Wilson (Los Angeles)

Kevin Wilson has a diverse career in dance and choreography. After attending Oklahoma City University he moved to Los Angeles. During this time he has shared the stage with recording artists such as Madonna, Beyoncé, Lenny Kravitz, Christina Aguilera and toured with Janet Jackson (All For You), Britney Spears (Onyx Hotel), and Cher (Final Farewell). Kevin was also a member of the original cast (Los Angeles) of the  Broadway Show, “Disney’s The Lion King” as well as appearing in the feature films Dreamgirls, Austin Powers: Goldmember, Blades of Glory and the highly anticipated Rock of Ages. As an associate choreographer he worked on the sell-out run of Cher - Live at Caesar’s Palace and her current Dressed to Kill tour as well as on So You Think You Can Dance.  As a choreographer he has worked with many artists including Mariah Carey, Donny Osmond, Juan Luis Guerra, Paulina Rubio and with Wayne Brady on his Las Vegas show Makin It Up as well as his remarkable performance on “ABC’s Dancing With The Stars”. In addition, Kevin’s work can be seen on television in America’s Got Talent and Your Chance To Dance.  Most recently, Kevin has completed work on the feature film Rock of Ages as personal Dance Coach to Tom Cruise. He also was assistant choreographer to Mia Michaels on Broadway's hit show, Finding Neverland and
Radio City Rockettes Spring Spectacular.  Kevin recently finished working on Royal Caribbean's brand new show "Sequins & Feathers".

Casey Noblett (CDI owner)

Casey Noblett began dancing under the direction of her mother, Toni Noblett and Jacques d’Amboise in NYC. Her stage credits include performances at the White House and Kennedy Center for President Bill Clinton, Lincoln Center, Madison Square Garden, and The Smithsonian Institute. She has performed internationally at Tokyo Disneyland, in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and at the NBA’s Jam Session in Caracas, Venezuela as Captain of the Atlanta Hawks Dance Team. Her television credits include work with artists such as Gloria Estefan, Will Smith, and Chayanne, as well as performances on Extreme Home Makeover, MTV, CBS, and the Latin networks Univision and Telemundo. 

 In 2011 and 2013 she was the choreographer and creative director for the America’s Junior Miss Scholarship Program. Casey has been featured in Dance Studio Life Magazine with her mother and brother Cassidy, Dance Spirit Magazine, and in the published book “Full Bloom”. She, with Robert Gosnell, has collaborated on multiple projects with the artist Annie-Rose in Nashville, TN and the Rye Band in Atlanta, GA. She has been a guest artist for Rosie O’Donnell’s Theater Kids, Broadway Dance Center, the University of South Carolina and the University of NC School of the Arts. Casey has been a master teacher and national judge for many competition companies. 

Casey is the owner and director of the in-studio convention company N-House and is the owner and director of the infamous Commercial Dance Intensive which is training students to work in the commercial industry.  www.commercialdanceintensive.com

Thomas Ford (New York)

Originally from Maryland, Thomas began dancing at the age of five. His unique dance background – a formidable combination of rhythm tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop & contemporary – has afforded him a distinctive career and equally passionate love for the art.

His credits include Debbie Allen’s “Dreams,” “The Kennedy Center Honors,” Laurie Ann Gibson’s “Addictive” music video and performances with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. He has toured with Lisa Hopkins’ “Tap Kids,” Mike Minery’s “Tapaholics,” and the renowned D.C.-based Tappers With Attitude. The National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts recognized him as a Presidential Scholar Semi-finalist, an experience culminating in a solo performance on the “Today Show.”  

His work as a performer has yielded an exciting path as a tap and contemporary choreographer and educator, giving him the opportunity to tour with SHOCK! The Intensive, alongside America’s most sought after choreographers. His work and creative process continue to be highly regarded throughout the country.

Noted for his evocative movement, effectual teaching methodologies and for his work as co-founder & co-artistic director of the groundbreaking NYC based pre-professional company and training program, companyONE.

Thomas has a BA in communications from Marymount Manhattan College

Rachel Siegel (Los Angeles)        

Rachel’s early training was in various dance studios throughout West Michigan, including Grand Rapids Ballet. Rachel has also trained internationally. Studios include Broadway Dance Center in New York City, Pineapple Dance Center in London, England, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Lou Conte Dance Studio, and Joel Hall School of Dance in Chicago, along with many more. Most recently Rachel toured with KC & The Sunshine Banddancing with their ongoing “Feeling You” Tour. Rachel has won multiple dance and choreography awards at the regional and national levels and also wonTeddy Tedholm’s Storyteller’s Choreography Contest on YouTube. You can see her choreography for the first time on the big screen in the new feature film The Wedding Party now streaming on NETFLIX. Upon moving to Los Angeles Rachel has performed in multiple music videos for successful artists including Tyler Ward, Megan Nicole, Riff Raff, and the Pop Boy Band INNOVATE. She has been an opening act for LA Fashion weekand continues to train and perform with Gina Starbuck, Destini Rogers, Brooke Pierotti as well as other artists at The Edge, Millennium Dance Complex, and Movement Lifetsyle studios. Rachel is currently on tour as a National Director with VIP Dance Competitionand enjoys her time choreographing and teaching classes at dance studios across the country. Rachel graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance from Western Michigan University and is excited to continue her dance career in the commercial industry of Los Angeles, California.

Christie Sirota - Jordon  OWNER/DIRECTOR

(Pittsburgh)

CHRISTIE SIROTA-JORDON has been teaching and creating choreography since the age of 15. Training from east to west coast and along some of LA’s hottest choreographers, she holds a wide variety of styles that bring an exciting blend to the classroom. A Pittsburgh native, Christie has traveled nationally with numerous conventions and workshops including CDI (Commercial Dance Intensive), Dance Masters of America, Dance Caravan, Professional Dance Teachers Association, N-House Productions and VIP Dance Competition, as well as teaches master classes and choreography throughout the country. She is a National Director for VIP Dance Competition, past Director of FLY: Industry Intensive, Director of 412: The Intensive and is a Regional Trainer for thebodybar(re) fitness franchise. Her credits include Las Vegas Fashion Week, Latin icon JUAN LUIS GUERRA, Disney’s NLT, dance/pop group TAXI DOLL, workout sensation HIP HOP ABS and many others.  Her choreography has been seen in regional productions of Footloose and West Side Story, on stage at Kennywood Amusement Park and in concerts and productions around the country. Christie is extremely excited to be back in Pittsburgh and to work with the dancers and artists of this amazing city.

MARK BURRELL

 Mark Burrell is currently an  Assistant Professor at Point Park University .  Mark served as Assistant Director/Associate Choreographer/Dance Captain/Swing of the National and International Touring companies of   PIPPIN  . Mark’s performance experience is extensive including engagements in the United States and internationally in  Israel, Japan, Zambia, Peru, South Africa, and The Netherlands . Choreographer:  Xanadu, PIPPIN . Other theatrical productions: First National Tour  Fosse , Assistant Choreographer  Radio City Music Hall  for 11 years,  The Producers, CATS, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Broadway for Hilary, and Seven Brides for Seven Brothers . Television credits: CBS’s Late Show with  David Letterman  and NBC’s Late Night with  Conan O’Brien . Industrials:  Macy’s, Earnest Young, Ford Motor Company, Intel Computers, IBM, and Tupperware . He has also engaged in the classical and contemporary works  WalkerDance  as a principle dancer,  Lar Lubovich, Paul Taylor, Jiri Kylian, Lila York , and Guest Artist with  David Parker  and  The Bang Group . Mark received his BFA from  The Juilliard School .

 Flesh is a two-woman dance project utilizes flesh as the medium through which they create art. Co-founded by  Vicki McWilliams , originally from Phoenix, Arizona and  Montana Michniak , originally from Dallas, Texas. We are dedicated to promoting and supporting the artistic community in Pittsburgh by sharing the vast beauty and capabilities of the female body. Montana received her B.F.A in dance at  Point Park University  under the direction of Ruben Graciani, and graduated in April 2016. Montana held the title of  First Female Apprentice with Parsons Dance , during the 2015-2016 season, under the direction of  David Parsons in New York City .  Victoria McWilliams is a graduate of  Point Park University  where she earned her BFA degree-studying dance. Victoria has danced as a company member with  Texture Contemporary Ballet Company  in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania from 2015-2016. These two wonderful women are excited to share their artistry through their project based company,  FLESH
